Tachus founder Hal Brumfield was trying to help his mom, a retired school teacher in Oak Ridge North, figure out why her Internet bill had unexpectedly sky-rocketed. After spending too much time debating contracts and rates with a large Internet service provider, Hal decided there had to be a better way. Hal then met Carter Old, President and CFO, who was instrumental in establishing Tachus. Together, they co-founded Tachus to build a better Internet for all. They have since built a company that serves customers with honesty and transparency. That, and 100% fiber-optic blazing fast Internet that leaves the competition in the dust.
